Man Accuses UBA Of Stealing N1.7 Million From Bank Account

A social media user, identified as Leo Morrison, has accused the United Bank for Africa (UBA) of allegedly withholding N1,720,000 from his account, TOP MEDIA reports.

In a series of posts shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Morrison claimed that despite providing all necessary documentation as requested by the bank, he has yet to receive his money.

In his ongoing tweets, Morrison has tagged both the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), appealing to the authorities to intervene and compel UBA to return the funds.

“What is wrong with @UBA, you guys are criminals. How can you steal my 1 million, 7 hundred and 20 thousand naira, and after providing all your bank has asked, you still don’t want to give me my money. @officialEFCC @cenbank @UBAGroup, give me back my money,” Morrison wrote in one of his posts.

As of now, UBA has not issued an official response to the allegations.
